Town Historian John Scherer leads a bike ride which begins at the Historic Grooms Tavern. The leisurely ride will follow along the Erie Canal towpath from Clute’s Dry Dock to the Lock 7 Dam. There will be 8 informational stops along the way. Riders must have helmets. Distance is about 13 miles, mostly level. The Autumn Bike Ride is co-sponsored by the Mohawk Towpath Byway.
